Dear Mr. Vinson,
On three separate occasions, my wife and I have asked a bible teacher why he "skipped" the most important tithing verse in the New Testament (Heb 7:8) when he quoted most of Heb 7 in a "tithing" paper. I just find it to be a little unacceptable and odd to skip right over this verse... [read more]

Hi Mike,
I want to explain to you how I was taught to interpret Rom 7. It is a classic example of how one foundational false doctrine becomes the foundation for not rightly dividing the word which leads to more false doctrines as well 'solidifying' our continuing to build our spiritual house on sand... I was recently talking to a friend of mine and shared with him my belief in the doctrine of Universal Salvation. It seemed to interest him quite a bit. He started telling me that he thought it was called "inclusion" because of the doctrines that Carlton Pearson started teaching. I visited a few web... [read more]

Mike,
I heard someone actually say God does not foreknow our individual decisions. They used Gen 22:12 and Deu 8:2 as their prooftexts. Read those verses and they, at least on the surface, seem to back up this claim. But I know of many scriptures that declare God's foreknowledge of the future, so I ... [read more]

Hello Mike
Concerning your e- mail and article about your understanding of the Godhead; I have read it and believe I grasp your view, although I'm not sure I agree with you. Even as you wrote, I am willing to have my understanding change if I am wrong. I wouldn't believe in the Trinity simply becau... [read more]

Mike,
I hear people, especially church folks, yell at the top of their lungs that they are saved. How can one be saved if one is still sinning? And to be totally cleaned, don't we all have to go through the "Lake of Fire?" The Bible tells us that all sin. Please clear this up for me.

I agree with most of your long letter about free will. It was well written. Could you send me your thoughts on Isa 65:20 and the new heaven and new earth of Rev 21. I read of death in Isaiah but not Revelation 21. Do you have any idea why that is? Oh, by the way, I said I agree with most of your mes... [read more]

Hey Mike,
My husband and I have lots of questions. Hoping you can shed some light on this one.
What can you explain about "fallen angels?" Here are the scriptures:
Jdg 1: 6, 9
2Pe 2: 4-10
Job 4: 17-19
Mat 25: 41
And most importantly, can you explain Rev. 12:1-9?
I know some of these verses just... [read more]
