Mike,
I was pondering over Joh 21:15-17 and seeking understanding on why the switch Jesus made after using agape two times, he ends using phileo.
In the KJV the last two say "feed my sheep", but I noticed the following switch in Young's Literal Translation.
Joh 21:15 When, therefore, t... [read more]

Hi Mike,
I would also like to know if you can point me to an explanation of Jdg 19. I am having trouble with that one. I see that this is what happens when there is no Christ (king) in us (the land), but the meaning of the concubine being raped and her division into 12 parts is confusing. I also am ... [read more]

Mike,
I have been meditating for a long time on the wrath of God. If I remember correctly, you say we all experience God's wrath and the nonelect experience it in the Lake of Fire. I believe we all experience the same thing, but the difference may be in the knowing. There are so many verses about kn... [read more]

Mike,
Please read this and give your opinion about the subject matter involved. Your knowledge of the OT is vastly superior to mine, but the verses and interpretation of the NT verses in relation to the OT verses seems to hold water. It is interesting. I will look forward to your opinion on the mat... [read more]

Mike,
Nice to hear from you. I just think this guy made a valid point concerning the house of Israel and the house of Judah. I know about spiritual Israel. I know being in the body of Christ places me and you in the commonwealth of Israel, but just because that is true does not eliminate the disti... [read more]

Hi Mike,
I have a question? Reading "The tempting of mankind" I found this sentence: The dust spoken of in Genesis is "the spirit that dwelleth in us which lusteth to envy" (Jas 4:5).
Can you please tell me where you found this translation, because when I read KJV or the Dutch most used transl... [read more]

Mike,
I was sent an article on loving God and free will. Interesting. The Reformers used to teach four stages of man's will – and that seems to clear up most of the discussion for those who can't accept scripture.
Stage 1 – Pre- Fall – Adam and Eve - fully able to love God. T... [read more]

Hi Mike,
Here is the story about the way we met the people who also do not believe in a hell doctrine and who do believe that our Father will be All in All:
Twenty years ago the Lord called me. The Lord opened my eyes beginning June this year. Circumstances were that I broke my collarbone and while ... [read more]

Mike,
I have another question. I have recently read pages on your site which explain how Christmas, Easter, Halloween and Valentine's Day are based on pagan practices. I see and agree. My question is how is one to respond to someone when they wish us Merry Christmas, Happy Halloween, etc? If we say ... [read more]

Hi Mike,
Thanks for your response on the animal thing. I'm still struggling with this sovereignty issue. Although I probably know the answer already; are you saying that the answer of the tongue is true for every man, woman and child of all time, and if so at what age does that start? I mean is he... Hi Mike,
Thank you for your last response. I had to read it a few times, but it was a very helpful letter. I appreciate the time you put into it. I have a question about these verses if you can:
Php 2: Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem o... [read more]
